My name is Allison Frick and I graduated from the University of Maryland in May, 2010 with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish.
I am an online producer for Dc.HighSchoolSports.net, a Gannett website based out of CBS affiliate WUSA TV-9, in Washington, D.C. This is my second year covering high school athletics in the District, Maryland and Virginia. During my time at Channel 9 I have also been a music contributor for Metromix DC, the station’s local entertainment website.
In the summer of 2010, I completed a News 21 fellowship at the University of Maryland. Through this national journalism program I spent ten weeks working on a multimedia web project about the health and future of the Chesapeake Bay called Chesapeake: Bay on the Brink.
