Allison is fluent in Spanish and has extensive writing skills. In January of 2008 she completed a business internship in Costa Rica.
Later that summer, she did an on-air translation for WUSA-TV 9. The story was reported by Phyllis Armstrong, and the package, “Police Release Video in Toddler’s Hit and Run Death,” covered a tragic car accident in College Park, Md.
During the summer of 2010, Allison worked part-time for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research doing translations for youth outreach programs. She can provide any resume or contact information “en español” upon request.
